Good morning everyone and welcome back to creative entertaining! Today’s post is so exciting to me because it’s soft, girly and timeless. Who doesn’t love a great tea party? This theme is fun at every age.
Here are some tips and inspiration to host your own!
If you are traditional and looking to host a classic tea, go for a soft color palette- pinks, whites, peach.
Feeling a little more modern? Add some grey tones or go for a mint palette.
Your decor: you don’t need much to create a girly atmosphere- your food and tea cups will do a lot for you.
DIY idea: blow up balloons in different sizes and simply tape them to the wall- inexpensive, easy and fun to do!
If you want to add floral, I love hydrangea. It comes in almost every shade, it is in expensive and it is sold in large heads meaning you don’t need a lot of stems to fill a vase! It also looks amazing paired with any other flower.
Adding wood frames is easy because you probably have some around the house or can buy them inexpensively. They add a nice texture to the over all look.
Menus and place settings also bring a nice touch and personalize your event- these are easy to make at home or can be purchased.
Simple Menu Ideas:
