Thanksgiving Inspiration: dinner sides

Thanksgiving Inspiration Week has been so much fun! I know it can be overwhelming during holidays and hosting can be an intimidating task. So whether you are hosting dinner or bringing something as a guest, make sure to keep it simple & tasty so you can focus on enjoying the moment with those around you. I am so excited about the holiday and I love sharing recipes & tips with all of you. The inspiration continues today with dinner sides.

Paula Deen’s Garlic Mash Potatoes

Parmesan Orzo 

You will need: 3 Tablespoons Butter, 1-½ cup Orzo, 3 cups Chicken Or Vegetable Stock, 6 Tablespoons Fresh Chopped Basil, 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, ½ teaspoons Salt, ¼ teaspoons Pepper.

What to do: Melt the butter over medium heat. Add the orzo and saute until the orzo starts to get golden brown. Add the broth and cover and simmer for 20 minutes, until all the broth has been absorbed. Remove from the heat, add the basil and Parmesan and salt and pepper to taste (this serves 4, feel free to double the recipe if you are feeding a large group).
